WhatToUpload

YouTube Analytics Analyzer

Your Studio export knows which videos deserve a second chance. This reads it for you: outlier scores against your own median, and a verdict for every video on whether the packaging or the content is the problem. Everything runs in your browser.

How to export the right file

In YouTube Studio open Analytics, click Advanced mode in the top right, make sure the Content tab is selected, then use the Export current view button and choose CSV. The file you want contains one row per video with views, impressions, click-through rate and average view duration. Any date range works, though 90 days or more gives the medians something real to stand on.

Why compare against your own median

Industry averages tell you nothing because they average channels nothing like yours. Your own median is the honest baseline: a video doing three times your median is a signal regardless of whether your median is two hundred views or two hundred thousand. The most useful list this tool produces is the hidden gems, videos that hold viewers longer than your median but get clicked less. Those earned a second launch with new packaging, which costs an afternoon instead of a production week.
