WhatToUpload

About WhatToUpload

WhatToUpload is a small, independent product built by one person. It launched in 2026, which means there are no enterprise logos on the homepage and no testimonials from customers we do not have yet. Putting fake ones there would tell you everything you need to know about how the rest of it is built.

Why it exists

Most AI tools for creators have the same problem. They start from zero every session, so the suggestions never learn what you actually make. Ask one for titles in month six and it gives you the same generic list it gave you in week one, because it has no idea which of its previous suggestions you kept and which you threw away.

The bet here is that a creative tool should accumulate. Every title you pick, thumbnail you select and idea you reject is evidence about how you work, and that evidence should make the next suggestion better. That is what the Creator Brain is, and it is the reason the whole product is shaped the way it is.

What we will not do

We never invent a fact you would state on camera

Scripts bracket every specific the brief did not supply. If you did not tell us your results, the script says [YOUR REAL NUMBER] instead of picking one. This came from catching our own tool inventing a creator's weight change and a true crime case's details, both of which would have been read aloud as testimony.

No predicted CTR, no viral scores

Nobody can honestly predict how a video will perform, so we do not sell you a number that pretends otherwise. Analysis here is qualitative and explains its reasoning, which you can argue with.

The memory is yours to read and delete

Every preference the system learns about you shows the evidence behind it on the Creator Brain page. You can correct it, delete it, or switch learning off entirely.

Credits you can read

One pool, published per-action costs, no separate premium currency. Unused credits roll over while you are subscribed.

What it deliberately is not

It is not a keyword research suite, and tools built for that will beat us at it. It is not a bulk channel manager, so if you need to edit tags across two hundred old videos, buy something else. It does not run its own A/B tests, because YouTube now does that natively and decides by watch time, which is the better metric anyway.

We publish honest comparisons against the tools people ask about, including the parts where they are better than us.
