How AI usage is measured
Everything AI costs credits you can understand, never raw model tokens. An idea exploration is 2, a packaging run is 3, a script is 5, a thumbnail render of 3 variants is 10, a final-quality render is 15 and a one-line thumbnail refine is 4. Saving, organizing and connecting your channel never cost credits, and unused credits roll over for as long as you're subscribed.
Billing, refunds and cancellation
Is there a free trial?
Not a countdown trial. Nothing here starts a clock and bills you on day eight. You get 10 credits when you make an account, enough to write a full script, with no card on file. Spend them, keep whatever you generate, and decide. After that every plan is paid, and the 30-day money-back guarantee covers the first payment if it still hasn't earned its keep.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Within 30 days of paying, email us and we refund it. No form to fill in, no retention call, no questions about why. It applies to your first subscription payment. Monthly renewals after that are cancellable at any time instead.
Can I cancel anytime, and what happens to my credits?
Cancel in two clicks from Settings, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Anything you generated is yours to keep, so exports, scripts and thumbnails don't disappear. Monthly plan credits stop when the subscription does, but credits you bought as a top-up never expire.
What if I run out of credits mid-month?
Top up without changing plans. 100 credits for $9, or 500 for $39. Top-up credits never expire while you're subscribed, and unused monthly credits roll over too, so a quiet month isn't wasted money.
Are my payments secure?
We never see or store your card. Checkout runs entirely on Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and handles the card data, invoices and any local tax or VAT. WhatToUpload only ever receives a confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Can I pay from outside the US?
Yes. Dodo Payments is a merchant of record built for exactly this, so international cards work, prices are charged in your local currency where supported, and Indian creators can pay by UPI, net banking and local cards. Taxes are calculated and remitted for your country automatically.
Who owns what I generate?
You do. Titles, scripts, thumbnails and every export are yours to use commercially, including after you cancel. We don't claim rights over your outputs and we don't train a public model on your channel's data.
Do you offer support?
Yes. There's a Help form inside the app that reaches the founder directly, and on Pro you get priority replies. We're small enough that the person who built the feature is the person who answers you.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Not yet. When there is one we'll announce it properly rather than bury it in a footer. If you'd like to be told first, mention it through the Help form.
